Most of you know, that I'm quite into digital painting resulting out of my activities in the demoscene. Two days ago I decided to give it a shot and use one of my paintings as skin for my netbook. So I made some changes to give it a fitting look for my Acer Aspire One 751 and handed it over to one of the printing services that deliver the result in the right shape for the netbook. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered, but I'm already curious if this will ROCK. As soon as it arrives I will present some photos of it.

    ...have never been funnier and more inappropriate!
I don't know if Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would have liked this interpretation...but I loved it! So you surely already guessed right. I've been to cinema to see Sherlock Holmes (IMDB) together with some friends. The movie is starring a really cool Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and a very fitting Jude Law as Dr. John Watson.
The movie entertained me very well, i liked the plot, had some good laughs and the overall production design was executed very well. Rating: 9.5 out of 10. And I'd love to see such a Holmes hunting Professor Moriarty down.

Finally the website of the Breakpoint 2010 is online under breakpoint.untergrund.net and it publishes the news I already knew: This will be the last Breakpoint ever!!!!

I just updated my AAO751-Wiki (Acer Aspire One 751 netbook) with the links to the new VGA driver versions for the GMA 500 for Windows XP and Windows 7. The new drivers bring some performance improvements for HD movies and an overall improved performance (according to benchmarks). You can find the wiki under www.wittmaack.de/aao751-wiki. Have fun!
