This evening I celebrated the Valentine's Day with my girlfriend in the cinema. We went to see It's complicated (IMDB) starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. The plot was quite nice and we had really a lot of good laughs. All the actors did a nice job and played very well. If only I hadn't had such a idiot sitting beneath me giving primitive comments all the time. What a douchebag. But that's not the movie's fault!

To cut a long story short: 8.5 out of 10.

Acer Aspire One 751 Design

I'm quite satisfied with the design I did for my Netbook and the print is actually quite good. Only criticism: They shouldn't have cut out the hole for the Acer sign. But that's tolerable. I've repainted the design in a higher resolution and added the bubbles on one side of the face. Now let's see how durable the foil will be and how easy it will be after some time to remove it.

Logitech MX518 Gaming MouseI have quite some experience concerning mouse types and I consider myself a intensive mouse user. I even paint a lot using only the mouse as input device. During the last year I used the Logitech MX518 mouse in the office and found it a really good, precise and reliable device. The form of the mouse is almost perfect for hours of painting and working with it. The ordinary mousebuttons and additional buttons are perfectly shaped and positioned. The mouse works very good on most surfaces and because of the fact that my old mouse at home broke down, it was an instant buy for me and I honestly can recommend this mouse! If you're in need of a new mouse. Get it!

Most of you know, that I'm quite into digital painting resulting out of my activities in the demoscene. Two days ago I decided to give it a shot and use one of my paintings as skin for my netbook. So I made some changes to give it a fitting look for my Acer Aspire One 751 and handed it over to one of the printing services that deliver the result in the right shape for the netbook. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered, but I'm already curious if this will ROCK. As soon as it arrives I will present some photos of it.

    ...have never been funnier and more inappropriate!
I don't know if Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would have liked this interpretation...but I loved it! So you surely already guessed right. I've been to cinema to see Sherlock Holmes (IMDB) together with some friends. The movie is starring a really cool Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and a very fitting Jude Law as Dr. John Watson.
The movie entertained me very well, i liked the plot, had some good laughs and the overall production design was executed very well. Rating: 9.5 out of 10. And I'd love to see such a Holmes hunting Professor Moriarty down.
