I just took out my small Canon 350D and did a fast "evil late night portrait" (see left). Turned out quite nice, but I noticed that there isn't a 64bit driver for Windows 7 for my camera on the Canon site. Damn. I couldn't find my card reader either and since the 350D uses compact flash cards there was no other way as using the USB connection but after plugging the camera I just got the message from Windows that there is no driver found. I experimented a bit and thought I just give it a shot and switch the USB connection type from "PC" to "Print/PTP" and surprise: It works like a charm. Windows 7 instantly finds a driver and you're able to browse through the photos and download them without searching for a specific driver. Problem solved!
