I’m really looking forward to the new update of the Xbox 360 Dashboard that is announced to be shipped on the 6th of December 2011. It will feature quite another heavy change concerning the design and it also will give you:
- New personal and social features
- Cloud Storage for Game Saves and the LIVE Profile
- Beacons and Sharing on Facebook
- Enhanced Possibilities for Family Settings
- Voice and gesture control will be available across the dashboard and in apps
- Bing voice search (this will sadly be available this year only in the US, UK and CA)
Also quite a lot of new content is said to be made available and if I would have one wish for X-Mas, then this would be “new Songs available in the LIPS Music Store“! But I guess this won’t happen!
One question that comes to my mind is: Will the themes I bought in the last years still be useable in the new dashboard that will look a lot like the Kincet Hub? We’ll see! I’m really looking forward to the new dashboard and hope that the Kinect integration was done as flawlessly as possible.
