After some time of use…

…I post my opinion on my new Benq-Siemens S88. Well. On the day receiving the phone I decided to do the migration the adventurer’s way and just erased all contact infos on the SIM card and plugged it into the S88 after it was fully charged. I hoped and was surprised that the synchronization using the QSyncer software was almost perfect. Using the cable and phone as a USB drive rocks the house. It is perfect to transfer mp3s, pictures, videos or j2me programs to the phone with high transfer speed. The mp3 player is of nice quality with virtual 3d sound, an equalizer, a playlist editor and more. The sound quality over the headphones is really good and using the phone as fulltime mp3 player the batteries last for around a day. I installed several j2me programs like OperaMini for example and they run really flawlessly. The 2-Megapixel autofocus digicam is of good quality, the photolight quite usefull and there are tons of preferences concerning resolution, ISO and much more. The OLED display is huuuuuuuuuuge. Brilliant colors and a viewing angle every notebook is dreaming of. The only minor disadvantage is a bit too low volume while phoneing, but I was told by the hotline that this can be tackled with a firmware update. Overall rating for this cellphone: 9 out of 10. I’m really satisfied with this mobilephone.
