Xinedome, Ulm, Germany. Another movie evening. This time I came to see Alexander starring Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie, Val Kilmer and Anthony Hopkins. The movie was rated “12 and above” in Germany, but had some really violent and bloody scenes in it. Colin Farrell as Alexander could have been played better but overall did a good job. Really stunning was Angelina Jolie as Olympias (very evil performance) and Val Kilmer did a nice job in playing Philip, the father of Alexander the Great. Overall a quite ok with nicely directed pictures by Oliver Stone. I quite liked it and give it a 7 out of 10.
