Geotagged photos

Concerning a new project in the office I need photos with geotags included in the Exif data. I did some research and found out that my XDA Diamond actually is capable of storing this information using it’s integrated GPS device. This is quite easy to achieve. You just have to install the Diamond Tweak and turn this hidden feature on (11. Camera -> 11.5 GPS photo). You also can do this by editing a registry entry, but this one is more comfortable. When now turning on the digital camera of the phone you can chose the mode “GPS Photo“. Photos taken in this mode are automatically geotagged and stored in a separate folder. I checked the stored position using the freeware Geosetter and it works perfectly. Let the geotagged shooting begin!
