I really do like…

…the Xbox 360 and I’m also NOT one of those people that hate Microsoft. I like using their products, because they do what I need them to do. I lately was quite surprised about the Windows 7, because after using Windows Vista for the past year I really hoped they learned out of all the complaints and they really did. Windows 7 turned out great in my opinion. Since I’m quite into social networking I registered for the Xbox Live Update Preview because I was looking forward to doing some beta testing. I registered quite early and got the confirmation mail to be selected for the first wave. Well. It didn’t really work out and I guess it didn’t work out for a lot of people, because I’ve read a lot of complaints about people being notified but left without an update. Neither am I mad at Microsoft now, nor do I really understand the people cursing Microsoft because in the end it’s just a beta version. You can expect to have problems using or even receiving a beta. The only thing Microsoft should keep in mind is that they could loose some hardcore fans of the Xbox 360 with such actions. At least I think they should have sent out a e-mail to the registered beta testers with a short excuse or information on the problems. Would’ve helped the people and Microsoft. Just my 2 cents.
