This evening a friend (Christian) and myself went to the Xinedome to see Krabat (IMDB). Normally I’m not really enthusiastic about German movies, but since the original book by Otfried Preussler was one of my favourites during my childhood (and surely one reason I quite like these black birds) I simply had to see this one. And I have to say that I was surprised. The movie was well done with beautiful sceneries and set designs. The actors did a really good job and even the special effects were great. Definitely one of the German movies worth seeing. I can give this one a sensational 9.5 out of 10.
