No. Not really.

Yesterday I went to see Inkheart (IMDB) at the Xinedome with some friends and colleagues. The movie was starring a quite colorless Brendan Fraser, an annoyingly boring Jim Broadbent and the only theatrical ray of light in this movie: Paul Bettany (He did a nice job as “Dustfinger”). The set design was partly quite ok, but partly it was horribly bad. The fairyland creatures looked so unreal and cheap in some scenes I really couldn’t stand it. I haven’t read the book(s) and won’t surely do after watching this movie. First I wanted to rate it with with a 6.5, but some moments later I only can give this one crappy 4 out of 10. Not worth the 5 bucks. Hopefully there won’t be a sequel.
