As some of you might know, I make heavy use of Skype as communication platform. Especially in the business sector it helps a lot when giving support to clients, but often you need to use two or more profiles at the same time and profile switching is really annoying. For quite some time it seemed that Skype only allows one instance of the program and you had to use a trick to run it under different Windows users. But there is a simple trick if you want to be online with two profiles on one computer at the same time. Just create a copy of the shortcut you use to start Skype. Open the properties of the shortcut and change the entry from:
“C:ProgrammeSkypePhoneSkype.exe”
to:
“C:ProgrammeSkypePhoneSkype.exe” /secondary
