One of my fellow designer friends (Sanna) asked me a day ago what music I’m listening to. She said it would be nice to know what tracks I listen to, as we have almost the same taste concerning music. So well. From now on you can find the artist and name of the track I’m listening to in the right section under “Soundtrack of the moment“. When I’m offline the last track played is displayed.
It’s implemented using the WinAmp plugin “Now Playing” which can upload the track infos and the output can be defined using a template file. I changed the template to output a JavaScript file and upload it through FTP automatically on the beginning of a track. The blog just includes this JavaScript file on the correct place in the blog template. Quite easy. Have fun.
