The beginning.

This is how the beginning of a new wooden mask for a “Ulmer Lechthal Hex” looks like. Just two pieces of lime wood glued together. This is the start of a new mask and a lot of work lies ahead. But I like the creation of a new mask. The process is rather slow as I’m not deeply experienced but I get used to it. Working with the lime wood is nice because it’s much more soft than a beech or an oak. Nevertheless it’s hard work and progress is quite slow. Working on the mask is also a good compensation for the graphical work I do in the office every day. In some days I surely will be able to publish the next step.
