Yesterday evening I installed the Homebrew Channel on my Nintendo Wii using the Twilight Princess safegame exploit. The homebrew channel enables you to run usigned code on your Wii from the secure digital card slot, a usb gecko or even through tcp using WiiLoad. The GUI fits the other channels quite well and I tested the whole thing using ScummVM over the SD card slot and it perfectly works. A quite recommendable application pack is the HBC Apps pack which contains things like the ScummVM, SegaGenesis Emulator, RegionFree, Mii Extractor, Wii64 and much more. Can’t wait to see the first kind of media center software on the Wii.
