…don’t seem to like each other. I just realised on three different machines that if you’re running Skype, the apache included in Xampp immediately stops after starting it. I did a bit research and found out that this is the result of Skype blocking port 80. This can be solved by deactivating the option “Use port 80 and 443 as alternatives for incoming connections” under Tools -> Options -> Connection. Might be of use for some of you.
