Another fine evening with friends. This time I went to the Xinedome together with Christian and Matthias to see Max Payne (IMDB). The movie is starring Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne, Olga Kurylenko (just seen in Quantum of Solace), Beau Bridges, Mila Kunis and Chris O’Donnell. It’s an adaption of the famous computer game “Max Payne”. It was solid action with a nice set design and good effects. You don’t expect greatness when it comes to the plot concerning game adaptions, so this can be seen as rather nice popcorn cinema which deserves 7.5 out of 10. Surprisingly good.
