I just needed to get the sound off a DVD, convert it and then cut it into pieces so I can hear the music of my dvd while working. So I googled a bit and found this killertrio: BeSweet (and BeSweet-GUI), Mediajoin and mp3DirectCut. All tools are freeware and work glitchfree and stable. BeSweet (but also get the BeSweet-GUI) is a audio transcoding tool and can extract all kind of things from a dvd, Mediajoin can join several audio or video files together and mp3DirectCut is one of the best mp3 slicers around. Once more the proof that freeware can be excellent stuff! Yihaaaaaaa. 😉
